This full-time teaching role is ideal for an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys mentoring others and helping them build the skills needed for successful careers in the trade. You’ll lead both classroom instruction and hands-on training in a supportive, professional learning environment.
Your Day
You’ll teach HVAC fundamentals such as safety, electrical systems, refrigeration, heating, ductwork, and green or energy-efficient technologies. Each day, you’ll provide hands-on training in installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance while guiding students through preparation for industry certifications like EPA 608 and NATE. You’ll track student progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure all training meets safety and instructional standards.

Your Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications a plus
• Minimum 3 years of HVAC industry experience (installation, service, or related)
• EPA 608 certification required
• Preferred certifications (not required): EPA 410A, BPI, Green Awareness, LEED, or NATE
• A2L certification or willingness to complete within 6 months
• Strong communication, teaching, and leadership skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various positions (bending, kneeling, standing, etc.)
• Occasional travel may be required for training or school-related activities
